Steps of St.Paul tour September 19 – October 6, 2009 There is still time to make your deposit and join this group of First Lutheran friends and family in touring the historical and spiritual sites of Paul in Turkey and Greece. Steps of Paul Tour is divided into two parts. Turkey begins Sep. 19 and ends Oct.1. Greece begins Oct. 1 and ends October 6, 2009. Tour is priced separately but we encourage you to travel both countries, for once you are here to not experience the second country would be to learn only a portion of Paul's journeys. In Turkey your will be exploring the ancient churches, visiting Mosaic crafted museums and mosques, learn and see the important center of Hellenistic civilization, and experience the site of the first Council of Church's dating back to 431. See the fabulous city of Istanbul and its famous market and legendary Blue Mosque. View the beautiful Mediterranean Sea as you ferry and drive along its border for miles. In Greece we will be cruising the Greek Islands for 3 days and nights on board a full experience cruise ship that includes meals, tours entertainment, all in outside view accommodations. Overnight in Athens and tour its many ancient sites along with Paul's city of Cornith and the towns of Mycennae, Mauplion and Epidaurus.
